On 30 March 1945, at 13.45 hours, American troops at Rhein-Main were surprised to see a lone Me 262 with its wheels down circling the airfield. The aircraft, Schwbisch-Hall built Me 262 A-1a W.Nr. 111711, was arriving from Neuberg, flown by Messerschmitt acceptance test pilot Hans Fay. The aircraft wan unpainted, with natural metal finish and panel lines marked by areas of filler paste. As the war drew to a close, many 262's remained unpainted, their metal skinning marked only with criss-crossed lines of putty filler. The reason for this was a simple lack of available raw materials for manufacturing paints.

**Instructions**
Unzip the files, then drag and drop all *.tpc, *.3dz, and *.spt files into your European Air War directory. To return to the default skin, move the same *.tpc and *.3dz files out of the EAW dirctory.

**The Cockpit**
The new cockpit files (P262av.tpc, P262ax.tpc and P262ax.3dz) are optional, although highly recommended.

**STAB and ECA Control Panel***
If using ECA Control Panel (Version 3.4), Charles Gunst's flight model switching utility, please set the flight model to the A-1a. If using STAB, Matt Thompson-Moltzen's skin and terrain switching utility, please select P262atex.tpc when loading for the first time.

**Thanks**
It was an honour to work with Migge. Thanks for the opportunity! Also, thanks to PapaRomeo for permission to include his excellent Revi gunsight.
